thankful that sometimes the best things happen during times when things aren’t going the way they are supposed to. amazing impromptu jam while the camera was being fixed.
Woodsongs felt like Revival tonight. It was awesome.
thankful that sometimes we go with the old-school way. mix cds made in prep for road trip!
thankful for all the things that these two have taught me. as musicians and as people.
that I can be passionate about Jesus and music and wine and my husband.
that I want to always look at Nathan the way Karin looks at Linford, and I should absent-mindly pet my husband as often as I want.
that it is okay if everything isn’t always easy. and I don’t have to make it look like it is.
that two can make a family. a happy family.
thank you, Over the Rhine.
thankful for music that moves me.
please tell me that you know Over the Rhine.
so much to look forward to in November. My brothers always tease me that I have a birth”month” instead of a birth”day.” This year, it is true.
thankful that 10 years ago, my sister-in-law said, “you need to go see this band. the mandolin player looks just like Nathan.”
and he’s the reason Nathan plays the mandolin. that makes me very happy.
and tonight’s Punch Brothers show? killer.
