thankful for all the things that these two have taught me. as musicians and as people.
that I can be passionate about Jesus and music and wine and my husband.
that I want to always look at Nathan the way Karin looks at Linford, and I should absent-mindly pet my husband as often as I want.
that it is okay if everything isn’t always easy. and I don’t have to make it look like it is.
that two can make a family. a happy family.

thankful that 10 years ago, my sister-in-law said, “you need to go see this band. the mandolin player looks just like Nathan.”
and he’s the reason Nathan plays the mandolin. that makes me very happy.
and tonight’s Punch Brothers show? killer.
