thankful that even though I had to go to 3 stores to get what I knew I was entitled to, I stood my ground. thankful that I am not easily intimidated. that I don’t take the easy way out. and that I have a new iPhone 4s (without any changes to my monthly plan) on the way!

thankful for gifts to wear around the kitchen while I dirty every dish we own. and thankful that we have 35 meals in the freezer. and that Nathan is going to clean up this mess.

after 13.1 miles, I was thankful to sit down on the soft turf. and to have this guy to sit with

thankful for runner friends, new and old.

Although it was a huge pain, I am thankful that it happened like this. Car in the garage instead of on the side of the road. Not raining for my walk to Meijer. Not on a race day. Thankful that I have friends who come out of the woodwork to come to my aid. That I have an understanding boss. That it only needed a repair, not a replacement.

thankful for all the birthday wishes. and so incredibly surprised at how this little project has taken off. you all made me cry several times today. in a good way.

thankful that I made some time in my day to spend with an eggnog latte (in a red cup!) and a few white blank pages.

thankful that I have a husband who stops by the grocery. loads the dishwasher. that I married a man, not a guy.

I will be posting daily through the month of November, and then we’ll see where we go from there.

Thank you all so much for making this movement more than I ever expected. All I wanted was a way to pull myself out of a painful time in my life, and to see it take off has been incredible.

So thank you. And I’m excited to be Thankful in November.

thankful for frozen yogurt on a hot summer evening.

and that a 4-mile round trip walk made it really guilt free.
